I am a year 7 student in the same class as everyone who is in jp7numeracy. I am reserching all of the different meat cuts from a cow. I will be writing this blog to inform you on how I am going while I research.

Location Affecting Taste?

You're probably wondering from my title what I mean. Believe it or not, where a cow comes from affects how its steak tastes. If a cow was treated very well and was put in the best conditions it could have, it would tastw like the best meat you've ever eaten. If a cow was treated really badly and lived in a muddy paddock with no grass and muddy grains for food, it would taste terrible.

It really all depends on how you treat the cow prior to when you cut it up.

  2. I know what you mean. When my sister use to work at Woolowrths they use to provide the old vegetables to a farm that had pigs. They had an overload of onions so the farm received them. After a while the pigs were eaten and the flesh tasted like onions! So it does make a difference.
